Marconfort Hotels & Apartments team talk to Peter Jacobs, head of Big Blue Sea Diving Center, which usually offers free demonstrations at the Atlantic Gardens Bungalows swimming pool.
"One of the best diving spots in Lanzarote is directly facing the Atlantic Gardens. It is an easy dive, with huge shoals of fish and lots of variety. There are barracudas, blankets and all kinds of stripes." Jacobs speaks enthusiastically of a place where there are no fisherman, and therefore there are all kinds of fish. In summer, many species come to this place to breed.
Although there are many diving companies in Lanzarote Atlantic Gardens recommends Big Blue Sea. They pick up guests at the hotel and lead them to spend the whole day, with several dives and lunch included. They have over 40 places to dive, among them the nearby island of Lobos.
